Airmen graduate from basic training

U.S. Air Force Airmen Harrison K. Kanekoa and Kaimimaauao W. Wilson recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Kanekoa is the son of Ellis and Zelda A. Kanakaole of Pahoa and a 2013 graduate of Pahoa High and Intermediate School.

Wilson is the son of Kalaniakea Wilson and Celine Graham of Honolulu, and grandson of Wannetta Daryl Wilson of Kailua-Kona. He graduated in 2015 from Kealakehe High School.
